Vickie began her journey in pottery back in 2020 with a 6-week class. Within a year, she discovered Fat Cat Pottery and was soon a member creating works on the wheel and in handbuilding. Vickies preferred method of glazing has always been brushed on commercial glazes. "I enjoy the process of brushing on the layers of glazes, blending them, adjusting the brushstrokes as I go to achieve my hopeful expectation and being amazed seeing the wonderful colors and depth that is created from the firing process".
