Get ready for an incredible opportunity at Fat Cat Pottery! We’re thrilled to host a 4-day kiln building workshop led by renowned potter Ben Owen III, right here at our Wilmington studio.

Join us January 16, 17, 18 & 23rd as Ben guides students through an immersive learning experience that combines in-depth lectures, kiln design, function, glaze insights, and hands-on construction of a gas reduction kiln on site. You’ll learn side-by-side with Ben as the kiln is built from the ground up, culminating a full group firing.

This is a chance to stud with a master, expand your firing knowledge, and be part of an exciting milestone for Fat Cat Pottery.
