Fat Cat Pottery Welcomes You!
Have you ever wished you had the time and space to try your hand
at pottery?
Think of Fat Cat Pottery as your own pottery studio.
In addition to regular classes, you can use our studio and
equipment by the hour, or you can become a member - the monthly
keyholder membership lets you use the studio when it is
convenient for you.
Here is everything you could want in a large modern studio -
electric and kick wheels, kilns, slab rollers, extruders, work
tables and glazing areas, clay wedging tables. The energy here
is wonderful and very creative. All the potters at Fat Cat are
willing to help newer members to get comfortable with the studio
and find anything they are looking for, some will even share
their techniques.
Fat Cat also offers classes for all ages.
Many find that the all technique Class is a wonderful way to
begin. it is extremely soothing to the soul to form clay into
works of art from a small chuck of clay in to something useful. Throwing classes
(working on the potters wheel) and Raku classes provide
different techniques of forming or building and all
classes learn about glazing.
Our classes are available every sixes weeks, but sign up early
for the one you want soon because classes are limited and fill
quickly.
